January Cure- Assignment 1

In having done the January Cure  before, I knew what the task was and what I was going to do. 

Clean a junk drawer.  

Like this one.  

I straighten this drawer often. But it always ends up looking like this. Between a toddler rummaging around, a husband that’s not much better and me always putting some random object in there it gets bad pretty quickly. 

First step in straightening a drawer is to take it all out and figure out what’s in there. What should be in there and what needs to go back to it’s home? I spy multiple tape measures, flashlights and small toys. I can’t imagine why this drawer gets messy... 

So many random items. And those keys?  Yeah, I’m not even sure what they open. Whoops. Figuring that out is a task for another day I guess. After seeing it all, I edited out all the toys and most of the tools. I also finally fixed the broken bottle opener so that’s a win in and of itself! 

This is the after.  I can actually see what’s in there and open and close it easily! Day one in the books!
