Welcome to Our Little Farmhouse!
Two short years ago, with an almost toddler and a happy-go-lucky dog in tow, we bought a cute little house on a couple acres in the country. It was definitely move-in ready, but in need of some love and personality and a little bit of reworking. Bit by bit, we’ve been working to make it our own. From DIY fails to awesome upgrades, we’re really starting to love our home.
This is our house early spring 2015. It’s just under 1400 square feet on 2 acres of property, across from a golf course like Jonathan always said he wanted. There are three bedrooms, plus two bathrooms that definitely pose some challenges. We’re on a country road and have 3 neighbors- total opposite from the 47 neighbors we had in the condo we moved from- and we love it.
This is our house today. We’ve been working hard on adding some personality and life to the landscape (I’m looking at you, dead bushes) and recently added solar panels. We’ve put in a lot of sweat and hard work, and know it’s only the tip of the iceberg compared to what we want to do.
Join us as I share what we’ve done so far, what we wish we’d done differently, and the projects we’re currently tackling. I'll even throw in some fun life stories, gardening tips, and recipes, too.
I hope you’ll stay for the adventure!

What kind of home-buyer are you?
Do you need move-in ready or do you want that DIY fixer-upper?
